Artist Statement

Kristen O'Neill's paintings explore various areas that the KS Wild organization defends and protects. From the mountains to the sea, these paintings reflect the amazing scenic nature that we all live in and enjoy.

Artist Bio

Kristen O’Neill is a contemporary landscape painter, with a focus on capturing the essence of a location, often experienced through hiking. She has collaborated with several long-distance hikers to paint various trails in the Pacific Northwest.

Kristen believes art can help people and communities find common ground, and believe in themselves while making a positive environmental impact, through education and exploration.

Kristen O’Neill has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She enjoys teaching art, both online and in-person. She worked with artists from around the world as an Artist Mentor with Alyson Stanfield for five years, and currently is the Executive Director of the Rogue Gallery & Art Center, in Medford, Oregon.
