Defend Clean Water! Take action for the Rogue!

Rogue Riverkeeper works at the federal, state, and local levels to watchdog the Rogue basin—from the mighty Rogue River itself to the tributaries of all sizes and surrounding public lands. We are always monitoring numerous reports throughout the Rogue basin, and we encourage you to connect with us if you have concerns about the Rogue River or its tributaries, native fish, water quality, or just want to get outside with us.

We currently do not have any active actions to take, but there are still ways you can engage! Check it out:

Report Pollution

You can help be our eyes and ears on the water by reporting spillls, pollution, weird smells, fish kills, abnormal algal blooms, cows in the water, clear cuts in riparian zones and more.

To report: Record the location, time, date, weather and as many physical details as you can when observing the concern. Be sure to take photos. Fill out the Pollution Report Form here, then send them to us by replying to the confirmation email you will receive after submitting the pollution report form. Speak up for the Rogue by reporting violations when they occur.

Volunteer with us

Our staff is small and mighty, but our work wouldn’t be possible without the support of community members who love and care for the Rogue River too! We are successful with volunteer help in many realms of our work: During our Water Quality Monitoring season every summer, public lands stewardship events, outreach opportunities within the community, events, trash cleanups field work, and more! Consider signing up to volunteer with us and you’ll receive a monthly email (only one—we promise!) with upcoming volunteer opportunities so you can give back to the Rogue!

Sign up for an upcoming event

We try to keep our calendar full with fun ways to either get outside and enjoy the Rogue, come out and support the Rogue, or stay in and learn about the Rogue! A special river deserves special events. Check out our events calendar for upcoming events you can join. From free river floats to cleanups to whitewater rafting trips, we’ve got it all!
