Join us alongside KS Wild and Stream Smart for a trash clean-up and weed pull along the Rogue River in Josephine County. Volunteer swag, prizes, snacks, water, and lunch will be provided!
We will meet at the covered picnic pavilion at Lynn Newbry Park, Talent and walk around 0.6 miles upstream along the Bear Creek Greenway. While we walk and look for birds, we’ll discuss the recovery from the Almeda Fire and riparian habitat and restoration.
This is a flatwater paddle on a reservoir appropriate for beginners. We will talk about safe boating and if you have not boated before we will provide you with tips then we will paddle together for around 2 hours and learn about the water quality and natural history at Emigrant Lake.
Join KS Wild and American River Touring Association (ARTA) on their 9th annual trip together down the Rogue River Trail. You always have the option to sometimes float in one of the rafts.
