Speaker Series #4: Stormwater & the Importance of Green Infrastructure

  • Chuck Roberts Park 500 Talent Avenue Talent, OR, 97540 United States (map)

Learn all about the effects of stormwater pollution on our local streams and rivers and the importance of green infrastructure in development.

Jennie Morgan, Stormwater Program Manager with Rogue Valley Sewer Services will lead the group on a walking tour of Talent to see examples of good and not so good stormwater pollution control.

Tour will begin at Chuck Roberts Park in Talent.
The tour will be followed by a happy hour at the Pump House Restaurant.

Our speaker series events are designed to educate and inform on subjects pertinent to our local waterways. All events are free to the public, in a casual setting, and a great way to learn more about the Rogue Basin.

This event is a walking tour of Talent so please plan on appropriate clothing and footwear for the outing. We will not cover a large distance but please expect to be walking for around an hour. Specific location and times to be determined.
