Community Conversation about Private Forestry Practices and Impacts on Waterways

  • Talent Community Center 104 East Main Talent, OR 97540 United States (map)

Please join us as we host this informational gathering to talk about how logging practices near streams on private lands impacts our local waterways and communities. Currently, southern Oregon streams that flow through private forest lands are have weaker stream buffer standards than the rest of western Oregon. These practices have detrimental impacts on our waterways, communities, and fish habitat.

Come share your stories and experiences with fellow community members and join in the conversation to find out what you can do to protect clean water and your community.

This will be an informal gathering. We will start with a short presentation followed by a Q&A and open conversation. Snacks and beverages will be provided as well as kids activities for the little ones.

Please RSVP by emailing robyn@rogueriverkeeper.org or calling 541.488.9831.

We hope to see you there.
